TANKER JETTY PLAYGROUND

Public BBQ

Tanker Jetty, a somewhat underrated attraction in Esperance, offers more than meets the eye. This spot is ideal for both relaxation and adventure, providing beautiful views, a touch of history, and a unique feel of the ocean. The Jetty is perfect for leisurely strolls, especially during sunrise or sunset, and it's a prime spot for fishing, with abundant herring and squid. Visitors can also enjoy snorkeling, but be prepared for the occasional jellyfish. The jetty trail leads to a platform underneath it, offering a different perspective of the ocean. Nearby, there's a playground, a cafe for a refreshing coffee, and a foreshore trail for those wanting more nature. There's also an Aboriginal storytelling aspect to the place, adding depth to the overall experience. However, visitors should be cautious of the benches and poor lighting in the evening.
